What it is

An ingestible monitoring sensor for cattle.

A rumen bolus is administered orally and remains inside the animal. Wandering Shepherd uses that protected internal placement to collect temperature and activity signals that can be passed through the ranch network to the Ranch Hand™ Dashboard.

Because it is internal, the sensor is not hanging from an ear or collar where brush, feeders, mud or weather can contact the device directly.
